Providing a caring service with compassion, dignity and transparency is something we pride ourselves on, while offering choice and flexibility wherever possible. We will always collect the body of the person who has died as soon as possible and bring them into our care, and will ensure that family and friends are able to visit or spend time with their loved one in a way that feels right for them.
We believe that grief begins the moment someone dies; the realisation that they are truly gone comes after the funeral when their body has been cremated or buried. This is why we feel funerals are so important and are a real opportunity to celebrate and reflect on the life that was lived.
At our funeral home on Bangor High Street, we have a comfortable meeting space for arranging funerals, we also have multifunctional space on the ground floor which is suitable for small services or gatherings and is home to our peaceful chapel of rest. We recognise that everyone deals with loss in different ways and some find it helpful to watch or help with the washing and dressing of their loved one. We are happy to facilitate this and will work with you to decide what feels right. Within our building also is a mortuary where the body of the person who has died will be cared for and will remain until the day of their funeral.
